As your Technology Solutions Provider, we are notifying our customers of an critical vulnerability that Microsoft has announced, and since patched. It affects all versions of Microsoft Outlook. The problem is that this does not require a user to click on any link per se, and exploited on a calendar functionality which has since been fixed.
It is very important that your Microsoft Office is on the latest update, which will apply and fix this vulnerability.
Following are instructions if you are willing to do yourself, or you can always call our Shop to schedule an appointment (310.833.6008). We can also apply this and other updates (Windows, Manufacturer etc) for your Computer – if you prefer.
Microsoft 365 should be set to automatically update. The older versions of Outlook, you can check if it needs updates in the same way and here are direct links for specific older versions:
